Our article, Enhancing Early Childhood Mental Health Primary Care Services: Evaluation of MA Project LAUNCH, has been published in the Maternal Child Health Journal! The article documents the positive outcomes of the model in reducing child social emotional risks and challenging behavior as well as parental stress and depression. The MA LAUNCH model is being replicated as an Expansion grant in Springfield, Worcester and Boston. The Early Childhood Mental Health Partnership announces the release of a toolkit providing guidance to practices seeking to make early childhood mental health and pediatric primary care integration a reality. The toolkit, entitled Early Childhood Mental Health Toolkit: Integrating Mental Health Services into the Pediatric Medical Home is a comprehensive collection of tools and guidance for integrating early childhood mental health staff, including a family partner, into the pediatric primary care setting.
